-Product Highlights

This high intensity magnetic rod is designed for efficient separation of ferromagnetic contaminants in industrial applications. It features a core made of rare earth neodymium magnets, delivering strong magnetic force, excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and reliable performance in demanding environments.

Its smooth stainless steel surface allows for easy cleaning, and customized sizes are available to meet specific application and equipment requirements.

-Working Principle

The high intensity magnetic rod generates a powerful magnetic field through its internal magnetic core. When powders, granular materials, or liquid solutions pass through or around the rod, ferromagnetic contaminants are quickly attracted and retained on its surface.

This process ensures efficient magnetic separation and purification of materials, improving product quality and protecting downstream equipment.

Product Information

Structure and Materials

A cylindrical magnetic rod, also known as a round magnetic rod or magnetic bar, is a high intensity magnetic rod for separation used to remove ferromagnetic contaminants from industrial materials. It is made of SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel casing, with a high-performance magnetic core composed of neodymium (NdFeB) magnets.

The magnetic core typically consists of high-performance cylindrical magnetic elements and magnetic flux guiding plates. Through an optimized magnetic circuit design, the surface magnetic strength can reach up to 15,000 Gauss.

The seamless stainless steel tube protects the magnetic core while ensuring easy cleaning and maintenance, meeting the hygiene requirements of industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.

Key Advantages

1. High iron removal efficiency

Equipped with high-performance magnets providing 6000–15000 Gauss magnetic strength, the magnetic rod can efficiently capture fine ferromagnetic contaminants, improving separation efficiency and reducing equipment wear.

2. Customization capability

Magnetic rods can be customized in diameter, length, and magnetic strength to meet different separation requirements. They can be integrated into pipelines or processing systems and are suitable for powders, granules, and liquids.

3. Low operating cost

The permanent magnet design requires no power supply and minimal maintenance. The corrosion-resistant and smooth surface allows easy cleaning, ensuring long service life and low operating cost.

4. Safe and environmentally friendly

Magnetic separation is a physical process that does not alter material properties and requires no consumables, preventing secondary contamination. Suitable for food-grade and hygiene-sensitive applications.

Installation

Select installation methods based on application environment and material flow characteristics to ensure effective contact between materials and the magnetic rod for optimal separation performance.

1. Embedded installation

Magnetic rods are installed horizontally inside pipelines or hoppers. As materials pass through, ferromagnetic contaminants are captured on the rod surface. Suitable for powders, granules, and liquids.

2. Suspended installation

Magnetic rods are installed above conveyors or discharge points. During material flow, contaminants are attracted and retained, requiring periodic cleaning. Ideal for bulk materials.

3. Drawer-type

Magnetic rods are assembled into drawer-type magnetic grates for easy removal and cleaning. This design is widely used in food and pharmaceutical production lines with high hygiene requirements.

4. Portable operation

Individual magnetic rods can be manually used for localized separation in small containers or hoppers, suitable for flexible or temporary applications.
