Square Magnetic Rod
– Product Highlights
Square magnetic rods have a square cross-section and deliver strong magnetic force. They can be used individually or combined into magnetic grills. The outer tube is made of SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel. Various sizes and specifications can be selected based on installation direction and material flow, making full use of the structural advantages of square edges.
– Working Principle
Square magnetic rods generate a strong magnetic field through their internal magnetic structure. This magnetic field attracts and captures ferrous impurities and weakly magnetic particles from materials, enabling effective separation of contaminants and improving material purity.
The physical separation process does not alter the properties of the material and meets the requirements of food-grade and medical-grade applications.
Product Information
Structure and Materials
Square magnetic rods feature a layered structure consisting of an outer square stainless steel tube made from SUS304 or SUS316L, and an internal high-performance permanent magnetic core composed of rare earth neodymium (NdFeB) magnets combined with low-carbon steel magnetic conduction plates.
Due to their smooth, flat surface, square magnetic rods are particularly suitable for coating machines and installations with limited or specific space requirements.
The corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant stainless steel casing effectively protects the internal magnetic core, ensures easy cleaning, and promotes hygienic applications.
Various end connection types are available on request, including internal thread, external thread, lifting eye, or other customized designs.

Features and Specifications
Unlike conventional round magnetic rods where magnetic flux lines are distributed over a cylindrical surface, square magnetic rods concentrate the magnetic force across four flat surfaces.
This design allows users to flexibly utilize the effective magnetic surfaces based on installation orientation.
The square structure fits more precisely against the inner walls of equipment such as chutes, pipelines, and processing chambers, enabling dead-zone-free iron removal. Square magnetic rods can be integrated into various production lines for continuous separation.

Key Advantages
1. High Iron Removal Efficiency
Equipped with an NdFeB permanent magnetic core, the surface magnetic strength reaches 6,000–14,000 Gauss, enabling rapid capture of fine ferrous contaminants and preventing equipment wear and product contamination.
2. Strong Application Flexibility
Square magnetic rods can be customized in cross-section size, length, and magnetic strength. They are suitable for installation in coating machines, pipelines, hoppers, and other processing equipment handling powders, granules, and liquids.
3. Low Operating Cost
The permanent magnetic design consumes no electricity and requires minimal maintenance. The corrosion-resistant, smooth surface can be easily cleaned with simple wiping, ensuring a long service life and low operating costs.
4. Safe and Environmentally Friendly
Physical magnetic separation does not alter the chemical properties of materials, requires no consumables, and generates no secondary pollution. It fully complies with food-grade and medical-grade hygiene standards.
Applications
Square magnetic rods are widely used in food processing, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, lithium battery and electronic materials, plastics and rubber processing, and the ceramics and glass industries, providing reliable iron removal across a wide range of production environments.
