Round Magnetic Rod
-Product Highlights
The round magnetic rod (round magnetic bar) is a magnetic tool designed to remove ferrous impurities from materials, featuring a core made of rare-earth neodymium magnets. This product offers exceptional magnetic strength, outstanding durability, corrosion resistance, rust prevention, and high-temperature tolerance. Its smooth surface facilitates easy cleaning, and custom sizes are available to meet specific application requirements.
-Working Principle
The circular magnetic rod generates a powerful magnetic field through its internal core. When powdered, granular materials, or liquid slurries pass through the rod, ferrous impurities are rapidly attracted and retained on its surface.
This process effectively removes iron contaminants, purifying the material. It enhances product quality and production safety without altering the physical or chemical properties of the processed material.
Product Information
Structure & Materials
The circular magnetic rod or round magnetic rod is a magnetic separation tool used to remove ferrous impurities from processed materials. Its main body features a seamless SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel casing, internally equipped with a high-performance magnetic core made from rare earth permanent magnet materials such as neodymium iron boron (NdFeB).
The magnetic core typically consists of ultra-high-performance cylindrical magnetic blocks combined with magnetic flux guide plates. Through precision-engineered magnetic circuit layout, the magnetic field strength at the rod surface can reach 15,000 Gauss.
The seamless stainless steel tube effectively protects the magnetic core while facilitating cleaning and maintenance, fully meeting the cleanliness requirements of hygiene-sensitive industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.

Core Advantages
1. High Iron Removal Efficiency
Equipped with high-performance rare-earth permanent magnets delivering 6000–15000 Gauss magnetic field strength, it rapidly and effectively captures minute ferrous contaminants, preventing equipment wear and product contamination.
2. Strong Adaptability
Magnetic rods can be customized in diameter, length, and magnetic strength to suit diverse applications. Installable in processing equipment like pipelines, hoppers, chutes, and conveyors, suitable for powdered, granular, and liquid materials.
3. Low Operating Cost
Permanent magnet design requires no electricity and minimal maintenance. Corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant smooth surfaces clean with simple wiping, ensuring long service life and low total cost of ownership.
4. Safe & Environmentally Friendly
As a physical separation solution, magnetic rods alter neither material properties nor require consumables, eliminating secondary contamination. They comply with stringent hygiene standards in food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.
Installation Methods
Select installation methods based on application environments and material characteristics to ensure full contact between material and magnetic rods.
1. Embedded Installation
Magnetic rods are embedded horizontally or vertically within pipelines, feed openings, or chutes. As material flows through, ferrous contaminants adhere to the magnetic rod surface. Suitable for continuous iron removal from powdered, granular, and liquid slurries.
2. Suspended Installation
Magnetic Rods are suspended beneath conveyors or material discharge points. Ferrous contaminants are captured as material is transported or discharged. Regular cleaning is required. Ideal for bulk and granular materials.
3. Drawer-Type Installation
Magnetic rods are secured within a drawer-style frame for easy removal and cleaning. This design is widely used in food and pharmaceutical production lines, meeting high cleanliness standards and facilitating convenient maintenance.
4. Portable Operation
Individual magnetic rods can be manually operated to remove ferrous contaminants from small containers or hoppers. Suitable for localized iron removal during small-batch processing or equipment maintenance.
